Although I’m not really into politics but since this is quite a hot issue guess I’ll just blog about this a little . I haven’t been updating for quite some time already as well ..

Well , the MCA Elections ended yesterday and Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek was elected as the 9th President of theMalaysian Chinese Association ( MCA ) . He managed to pull a total amount of 901 votes from the MCA delegates . Running behind him was former president Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting with 833 votes and incumbent president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat who only managed to get 578 votes . It’s kinda surprising to see how the president is losing so badly to his ex-deputy and the former president . I guess MCA ‘ s just don’t really like him . Haha..No offense Datuk Ong.. XD As for the Deputy President , Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai won by a close victory of 1171 votes compared to Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha who got 1106 votes . A difference 65 votes . But yet it shows that MCA prefers Liow to be leading them . The President , Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and Deputy President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai both are from different factions in the election . Liow is actually on Ka Ting’s side while Chua has his own faction . But the votes have decided and hopefully the 2 can cooperate well . Although Ka Ting , Tee Keat and Kong lost in their bid for the respective positions , they still vow to continue serving MCA whatever happens . Now that is one good thing isn’t it? =p  At least we can see that although they are not totally united , their goal is to serve the Chinese community in general ..
